Because of a default in the payment of the indebtedness secured by a Security Deed executed by Tommy Pethel and April Pethel to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc. dated December 2, 2005, and recorded in Deed Book 41-S, Page 460, Jackson County Records, said Security Deed having been last sold, assigned, transferred and conveyed to Deutsche Bank National Trust Company, as Trustee for Morgan Stanley Loan Trust 2006-HE2, by Assignment securing a Note in the original principal amount of $100,800.00, the holder thereof pursuant to said Deed and Note thereby secured has declared the entire amount of said indebtedness due and payable and, pursuant to the power of sale contained in said Deed, will on the first Tuesday, September 4, 2007, during the legal hours of sale, before the Courthouse door in said County, sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash, the property described in said Deed, to-wit:
All that tract or parcel of land, together with all improvements thereon, lying and being in the City of Commerce, 255th District, G.M., Jackson County, Georgia, as shown and delineated as Lot 132, Brentwood Estates Subdivision, Phase Three on plat of said subdivision recorded in Jackson County Plat Records at Plat Book 57, Page 210, which plat is incorporated herein by reference for a more complete description.
Subject to restrictions and/or covenants of record, if any, easements of record and existing easements and rights of way for public roads and utilities now in use.
Said property is known as 99 Kensington Court, Commerce, GA 30529, together with all fixtures and personal property attached to and constituting a part of said property, if any.
Said property will be sold subject to any outstanding ad valorem taxes (including taxes which are a lien, whether or not now due and payable), the right of redemption of any taxing authority, any matters which might be disclosed by an accurate survey and inspection of the property, any assessments, liens, encumbrances, zoning ordinances, restrictions, covenants, and matters of record superior to the Security Deed first set out above.
The sale will be conducted subject (1) to confirmation that the sale is not prohibited under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and (2) to final confirmation and audit of the status of the loan with the holder of the security deed.
Notice has been given of intention to collect attorney’s fees in accordance with the terms of the Note secured by said Deed.

Drilling Services
The Jackson County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed proposals from experienced and qualified vendors to provide drilling services for the purpose of installing landfill gas extraction wells at a municipal solid waste landfill. The Jackson County SR82 MSWL, Permit # 078-009D(SL) is located on County Farm Road between SR82 and SR15 approximately 1.5 miles northeast of Jefferson.
The project consists of installation of thirty-one (31) soil gas vent wells (approximately 1,240 ft. of straight auger drilling). The final depth of wells will be determined by the project geologist who will be supplied by Moreland Altobelli Associates, Inc. The proposal will request a lump sum bid and an itemized estimated cost for mobilization, per foot cost for finished well installation, per diem for drill crew, per hour cost for equipment decontamination, and a per hour cost for well development. Driller must have a valid drillers bond on file with the Georgia Water Well Drillers Council. Documentation must be provided if selected.

Vendors will have until 1:00 p.m., local time prevailing, on August 31, 2007, to submit a sealed proposal for the requested services. Sealed proposals may be submitted by mail or hand delivered to the Jackson County Purchasing Manager at the address above. Mailed proposals should indicate that the package contains a sealed proposal so that proper handling can be insured. At this time, all sealed proposals will be opened and read aloud. The proposals will then be evaluated according to the standards listed in the RFP and the vendor whose proposal best meets the needs of Jackson County will be awarded the contract.
Jackson County reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any and all proposals, to evaluate the proposals according to the point system established in the RFP, to accept portions of any bid and to accept any bid, which in its opinion, is in the best interest of the County. The County reserves the right to add or to delete from the contract after the contract has been awarded.
No proposals will be received or accepted after the above specified date and time for the opening of all sealed proposals. Proposals submitted after the designated date and time will be deemed invalid and will be returned to the bidder unopened.
No proposal may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the public opening and reading of the proposals and all proposals shall remain final during this period.
