Woman dies after collision with dump truck
A woman was reportedly killed after the vehicle she was driving ran into the back of a dump truck attempting to make a left turn on Hwy. 29 South near the Huddle House in Danielsville Wednesday morning, Oct. 31, around 6:30 a.m.
According to sheriff’s office officials, the woman was headed south on Hwy. 29 when she collided with the dump truck. The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
Madison County EMS director Dwayne Patton said the woman was driving a passenger car and was approximately 50 years old. There were no other injuries reported.
A Georgia State Patrol report was not yet available as of press time and the identity of the woman had not yet been released.
