Recreation Bond To Be Topic Of Friday Meeting
Jackson County, Jefferson and Commerce officials will meet Friday morning to discuss a possible countywide bond vote to fund recreation facilities.
The meeting will be held at 10:00 at the Hurricane Shoals Conference Center.
The county’s voters rejected a $15 million bond issue in February. That project would have funded only facilities for the Jackson County Recreation Department.
