JHS, CHS graduations ahead Fri.

High school graduates from Jefferson High School and Commerce High School will receive diplomas Friday night.
Jefferson High School will hold its graduation ceremony on Friday at 8 p.m., at Memorial Stadium. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be moved to the gym at the same date and time.
JHS is expected to have 137 graduates. Karolyn Michelle Champlin is the valedictorian and Jeremy Michael Deremer is the salutatorian.
Commerce High School will also hold its graduation ceremony on Friday at 8 p.m. CHS is expected to hand out 66 diplomas during the ceremony. The valedictorian is Charles Winfred Blair III and the salutatorian is Wesley Dean Lewis.
JCCHS, EJCCHS
Jackson County Comprehensive High School will hold its graduation ceremony next week on Friday, May 23, at 8 p.m., at the school’s stadium.
In the event of bad weather conditions, JCCHS will hold its graduation at 10 a.m., on Saturday, May 24. If the weather continues to be bad, graduation will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday May 24.
JCCHS is set to have 253 graduates to receive diplomas during its ceremony.
East Jackson Comprehensive High School will hold its graduation on Friday, May 23, at 6 p.m., at Eagle Stadium. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be moved to the gym.
EJCHS is expected to have 109 graduates, which is the first senior class for the new school.
