JCCHS spring practice ends Sat., May 17

Jackson County Comprehensive High School’s football program got started on their spring training last week. Head Coach Billy Kirk said that he is excited about the upcoming season in a new region.
The Panthers move to Region 8-AAA this year.
The Touchdown Club is hosting three days of activities to end the Panther Spring Football Camp, May 15 through May 17. May 15, at 5:30 p.m., is the West Jackson Middle School spring game; May 16, at 7 p.m. is the Powder Puff game; May 17, activities include: a community garage sale from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., the alumni game at 5:30 p.m., a Cow Patty Bingo after the alumni game to win a big screen TV and call the first play of 2008, and the annual “Red and Black” game at 7:30 p.m.
