Political forums set in Hoschton
Two political forums for candidates in races in Jackson County will be held in Hoschton this month.
On Wednesday, June 18, at 7 p.m., the candidates for seats on the Jackson County Board of Commissioners and the Jackson County Board of Education will be featured.
On Wednesday, June 25, at 7 p.m., the candidates for Jackson County sheriff and district attorney of the Piedmont Judicial Circuit will be featured. The Piedmont Judicial Circuit serves Jackson, Barrow and Banks counties.
The Hoschton Women’s Civic Club is sponsoring the forums, which will allow audience members to ask questions for the candidates. Refreshments will be provided by the group.
The forums will be held at the Hoschton Depot, located on Ga. Hwy. 53.
