Environmental
Protection Division
Notice of Application for Land Application System Permit to Land
Apply Sludge to a Land Application Site in the State of Georgia.
The Georgia Environmental Protection Division has received a
new LAS permit application for the issuance of an existing LAS
permit. Having reviewed such application, the Environmental Protection
Division proposes to issue for a maximum term of five years the
following permit subject to specific pollutant limitations and
special conditions.
Sonstegard Foods, 2079 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, Georgia
30504, LAS Permit No. GA01-420, for its egg breaker facility
located in Gainesville, Georgia in Hall County. Stabilized sludge
is land applied on 15 acres at 181 Booker Drive in Braselton,
Georgia in Jackson County near the Mulberry, which leads to the
Middle Oconee River in the Oconee River Basin.
Persons wishing to comment upon or object to the proposed determinations
are invited to submit same in writing to the EPD address below,
no later than thirty (30) days after this notification. All comments
received prior to or on that date will be considered in the formulation
of final determinations regarding the application. A public hearing
may be held where the EPD Director finds a significant degree
of public interest in a proposed permit or group of permits.
Additional information regarding public hearing procedures is
available by writing the Environmental Protection Division.
A fact sheet or copy of the draft permit is available by writing
the Environmental Protection Division. A copying charge of 25
cents per page will be assessed. The permit application, draft
permit, comments received and other information are available
for review at 4220 International Parkway, Suite 101, Atlanta,
Georgia, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday
through Friday.

Victor C. Vizaro has petitioned to be appointed administrator
of the estate of Joyce Eleanor Carver, deceased, of said county.
(The petitioner has also applied for waiver of bond and/or grant
of certain powers contained in O.C.G.A. 53-12-232). All interested
parties are hereby notified to show cause why said petition should
not be granted. All objections to the petition must be in writing,
setting forth the grounds of any such objections, and must be
filed with the court on or before Feb. 5, 2001. If any objections

The work includes but is not limited to: Placement of rip rap
along the reservoir side of the Bear Creek Reservoir containment
berm (approximately 1650 ft. long) located on the south side
of Highway 330 in Jackson County, Georgia. The rip rap will be
placed from elevation 692 or natural ground, whichever is higher,
to elevation 704; installation of 3 each 36" concrete pipes
under Highway 330; An alternate for removal of debris within
the Bear Creek Reservoir Conservation Easement will also be included.
