Project: Jefferson Park Clubhouse

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Jefferson for a General Contract to furnish and install all materials, labor and equipment, necessary for the construction of the Jefferson Park Clubhouse located in Jefferson, Georgia.
Bids will be received by the City of Jefferson at 147 Athens Street, Jefferson, Georgia 30813, no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2001. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at this location. Any bid received after 2:00 p.m. on bid opening date will not be considered by OWNER. Bids will be evaluated by OWNER, and the project award is anticipated upon completion of this evaluation.
Base Bid: Materials, labor, tools, equipment and all other miscellaneous and/or necessary items for the construction of an approximately 2,500 square foot facility. The Jefferson Park Clubhouse is located in Jackson County, Georgia.
Alternates: (If authorized by Owner) (refer to Section 01030 for additional information)
OWNER requires the BIDDER to include, along with the lump sum base bid, a Schedule of Values. This Schedule of Values must be divided into the "CSI 16 Division Format" with appropriate breakdowns under each division.
The required time of completion is One Hundred Eighty (180) consecutive calendar days from the date of the written Notice to Proceed.
Copies of Bidding Documents may be obtained at the office of Precision Planning, Inc., 400 Pike Boulevard (30045), P.O. Box 2210, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046, upon payment of a non-refundable cost of $100.00 (please contact Precision Planning, Inc. prior to picking up plans). OWNER requires a bid bond issued by a Surety listed on the Treasury as licensed in the State of Georgia, or a cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of your total bid to be enclosed with your bid at the time of bid opening to be made payable to OWNER. No other form of security will be acceptable.
Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to OWNER. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as, "Bid for the Jefferson Park Clubhouse." If bid is forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed in another envelope to the attention of OWNER at the address previously given.
Any and all Bids received without the aforementioned criteria enclosed, will be returned to BIDDER.
All Bids must be made out on the bid form of the type bound in the Contract Documents, in accordance with the instructions in the Information for BIDDERS. No interlineations, additions, or deletions shall be made in the proposal form by BIDDER. No conditional Bids will be acceptable.
Contract will be awarded on a stipulated sum to the most responsive BIDDER presenting the lowest acceptable Bid, based on the Lump Sum Base Bid plus any combination of Alternates (if appropriate) acceptable to Owner.
OWNER reserves the rights to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids, to evaluate Bids, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of OWNER. No Bid will be rejected without just cause.
No BIDDER may withdraw his bid within the time limit specified in the Instructions to Bidders Section 00100.

Notice is hereby given in compliance with Georgia Code 22-2-109 that the Georgia Department of Transportation has approved the Location and Design of the above project.
This project consists of the widening and reconstruction of SR 15 Alt./US 129 from Brock Road near SR 330 in Jackson County to Lavender Road in Clarke County for a total distance of 5.9 km (3.67 miles). This project lies 66% within Jackson County and 34% within Clarke County.
Date of Location and Design Approval: April 17, 2001
This project will provide a four lane rural roadway with a 44 ft. wide depressed median and 10 ft. shoulders.
Drawings or maps or plats of the proposed project as approved are on file and are available for public inspection at the Georgia Department of Transportation, No. 2 Capitol Square, Room 444, Atlanta, Georgia 30334, in the Office of Road Design, Room 444.
