Notice is hereby given in compliance with Georgia Code 22-2-109 that the Georgia Department of Transportation has approved the Location and Design of the above project.
This project consists of the widening and reconstruction of SR 15 Alt./US 129 from Brock Road near SR 330 in Jackson County to Lavender Road in Clarke County for a total distance of 5.9 km (3.67 miles). This project lies 66% within Jackson County and 34% within Clarke County.
Date of Location and Design Approval: April 17, 2001
This project will provide a four lane rural roadway with a 44 ft. wide depressed median and 10 ft. shoulders.
Drawings or maps or plats of the proposed project as approved are on file and are available for public inspection at the Georgia Department of Transportation, No. 2 Capitol Square, Room 444, Atlanta, Georgia 30334, in the Office of Road Design, Room 444. Any interested party may obtain a copy of the drawings or maps or plats by writing to the Georgia Department of Transportation, No. 2 Capitol Square, Atlanta, Georgia 30334 and paying a nominal cost therefore.

Because of a default in the payment of a promissory note dated May 14, 1994, and by virtue of power of sale contained in a Deed to Secure Debt of even date, executed by M.J. Rider, recorded in Deed Book 14-H, Pages 641-642, Jackson County, Georgia Records, Main Street Savings Bank, FSB, as current holder of said Note and Deed to Secure Debt, has declared the indebtedness due in full under the above-described promissory note, and, pursuant to the power of sale contained in such Deed to Secure Debt, will, on the first Tuesday in June, 2001, during the legal hours of sale at the Courthouse door in Jackson County, Georgia, sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash the following property, to-wit:

Notice of Sale Under Power
in Deed to Secure Debt

Jackson County
Because of default in the payment of the indebtedness secured by a Deed to Secure Debt executed by William and Debra Ward, Grantors, to Arcade Homes, Inc., Grantee, dated September 10, 1998, recorded in Deed Book 18-J, Page 790, in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court, Jackson County, Georgia, the undersigned has declared the entire amount of said indebtedness due and payable and pursuant to the Power of Sale contained in said deed, will on the first Tuesday in June, 2001, during the legal hours of sale at the Courthouse door in Jackson County, sell at public outcry to the highest and best bidder for cash, the following described property:
All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the 245th District, G.M., Jackson County, Georgia, in the Town of Arcade, containing 2.20 acres, more or less, and designated as Lot 29 as shown on that plat of survey for White Oak Subdivision, prepared by Venable and Associates, Surveyors, dated April 8, 1986, and recorded in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court, Jackson County, Georgia, in Plat Book 22, Page 194. Said plat, as recorded, is hereby incorporated by reference for a more detailed description of said property. Subject to existing easements for public roads and utilities now in use. Also subject to Restrictive Covenants recorded in Deed Book 9-K, Page 675, Jackson County, Georgia Records.
The sale will be held subject to any outstanding and unpaid taxes and/or easements and/or restrictive covenants appearing of record.
Notice has been given of intention to collect attorney's fees in accordance with the terms of the note secured by said Deed. Said property will be sold as the property of William and Debra Ward, and the proceeds of said sale will be applied to the payment of said indebtedness, the expense of said sale, all as provided in said Deed, the undersigned will execute a deed to the purchaser at said sale as provided in the aforementioned Deed to Secure Debt.
