The Town of Braselton's Planning Commission will hold a public
hearing on Monday, November 19, 2001, at 4:00 p.m. at the Braselton
Community Center on the following requests:
·Amended request for annexation and rezoning from Strickland
River Farms, LLC of 214 acres located in unincorporated Barrow
and Gwinnett counties on the Northside quadrant of the crossroads
of Highway 211 and Liberty Church, a.k.a. Thompson Mill Road.
Currently zoned Agriculture. Requested zoning is PUD with a mixed-use
residential and commercial community planned.
·Rezoning request from 2255 Delk Road Partnership, L.P.
for the rezoning of one piece of property currently zoned MHD
and the current site of The Oaks Mobile Home Park. The property
in front of the Oaks is currently zoned C-2 Commercial and is
undeveloped. The owners have requested these properties be rezoned
to M-1 Wholesale and Light Industrial. The Owners would like
to move the mobile home park residents to property located on
Ednaville Road currently zoned C-2 General Commercial and have
requested rezoning of that property to MHD Manufactured Housing.
·Annexation and rezoning request for 2255 Delk Road Partnership
for property located on New Liberty Church Road in Jackson County.
The total size is 255.829 acres located at Map 123 Parcel Number
112. The property is currently zoned Agricultural and the proposed
land use and zoning classification of the property upon annexation
would be R-2 with 510 single-family residences planned.
·Annexation and rezoning request from Ruby-Forrest Ltd.
for 108.934 acres located in Gwinnett and Hall counties on Friendship
Road at Gwinnett County GMD 1397, 1-002-065 and 1-002-023 and
Hall County GMD 1419, 15-41-4. The land is currently zoned R-100
and PRD and the proposed land use and zoning classification of
the property upon annexation would be PUD Planned Unit Development.
The Braselton Planning Commission holds their meetings at the
Braselton Community Center located at 126 Harrison Street.
