CALLED BOARD MEETING JANUARY 30, 2002 6:00 P.M. All Board Members were present. Mr. Cowne and Frank Gillespie were also present. Motion by Mr. Patton, second by Mr. Power to adopt amended agenda: Reapportionment. Unanimous vote. Over a half hour of discussion and study of possible maps, options, etc., during which Ms. Belfield asked that it be noted that she had wanted Senator Mike Beatty present. Motion by Mr. Power, second by Mr. Mason to adopt “Map #1” as reapportionment for Madison County Board of Education. The vote was 3 to 1 with Mr. Patton dissenting and Ms. Belfield abstaining. Motion by Mr. Mason, second by Mr. Power to adjourn. Unanimous vote. |
