Separate sealed bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the construction of the Bear Creek Water Treatment and Transmission Facilities, Plant Water Booster Pump System will be received by the Owner at the Northeast Georgia Regional Development Center, 305 Research Drive, Athens, Georgia 30601, until 3:00 p.m., local time, on July 10, 2002, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
The Project consists of constructing a packaged booster pump system in an existing building with a capacity of 200 gpm (25 hp) including connection to existing piping, electrical and control systems.
The work will be awarded in one Contract.

Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached to the Contract Documents or a Surety Company’s Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of 10 percent of the Bid.
The successful Bidder for this contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the bid.

Destruction of Records of Disabled Students
The Jackson County School System, Department of Special Education, announces its intention to destroy specific data. Records will be destroyed that were collected, maintained, or used in provision of a free appropriate public education for disabled students in Jackson County Schools. This notice is in compliance with the system’s comprehensive plan for special education required by P.L.94-142.
Records on students who enrolled in a special education program for the disabled and whose birthdays are between 06/02/74 and 06/01/75 are no longer needed for educational purposes. These records may be needed by the student or parents for Social Security or other reasons. The system plans to destroy these records on August 01, 2002, unless there has been a request for a due process hearing, under P.L.94-142 or a complaint filed with the Office of Civil Rights, under section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
If you, as the student or parents of the student, desire copies of these records prior to destruction, contact the office of Special Education at (706) 367-5151. You will be required to produce identification or provide verification data.

Additionally, a temporary construction easement extends for twenty-five feet (25’) on each side of the above-described line, thereby forming a fifty foot (50’) temporary easement.
The above-described permanent easement and temporary easement is more particularly depicted on that plat of survey entitled “Sewer Easement Boundary Survey for Mickey & Elizabeth Edwards,” prepared by Allen L. Rooker, LLC, Civil Action X-02-CV-0544 in the Superior Court of Jackson County, the same being a proceeding to confirm and validate an issue of Jackson County Industrial Development Authority Taxable Revenue Bonds (John W. Rooker, LLC Project), Series 2002 (the “Bonds”), in the aggregate principal amount of $16,660,000. The Bonds are to be issued by the Jackson County Industrial Development Authority (the “Issuer”) for the purpose of financing, in whole or in part, the cost of acquiring and equipping a distribution facility (the “Project”) to be leased to John W. Rooker, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company (the “Company”), for sublease to Haverty Furniture Companies, Inc., for the purpose of encouraging and promoting the expansion and development of industrial and commercial facilities in Jackson County so as to relieve, insofar as possible, unemployment within its boundaries.
