Ordinance No. 03-02
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING that portion of property belonging to JOHN AND JIM SCHWARTZ, adjacent to but not within the corporate limits of the City of Lula, Georgia.
WHEREAS, the owner of certain unincorporated land adjoining the existing corporate limits of the City of Lula, Georgia, filed his or her petition with the City of Lula, Georgia, requesting that said land hereinafter described in the ordinance be incorporated and annexed into the City of Lula, Georgia.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lula, Georgia, hereby ordains as follows:
Section 1:
That from and after the passage of this Ordinance, the following described tract of land is and shall be annexed to the existing corporate limits of the City of Lula, Georgia, as fully and completely as if the limits had been certified by the General Assembly of Georgia.
All that parcel and tract of land located in the Lula District (GMD 1690) of Hall County, Georgia, and being more particularly described as follows:
Those tracts of land No. 5, according to plat of the property of Ben Crow, located in the 9th District of Banks County, Ga. Copy of said plat is of record in the office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Banks County, Ga., in Plat Book 4, Page 127 and reference is made thereto for specific description of the property herein conveyed.
Section 2:
The Secretary or such other authorized person of the City Council of Lula, Georgia, is directed to make the file with the Georgia Secretary of State a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with a plat describing the land annexed to the city of Lula, Georgia, by the Ordinance.
Section 3:
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
