Payment of the correct amount must be made within 30 days of billing; such payments are not refundable.
Payment will be made to the contractor each calendar month based on the estimated work complete in place as prescribed by the standard specifications.

Please take notice that the following applications have been received by the Banks County Planning Office:
CU-03-07 - Application by Hugh L. Gordon for a conditional use permit to build a poultry house at 220 Skeeter Drive. This property is zoned ARR, Agricultural, Rural-Residential.
V-03-06 - Application by Ramada Limited for a variance to reface an advertising sign that will exceed 40-feet in height. This property is located at 30537 U.S. Highway 441, South.
V-03-07 - Application by Joe Phvoc and Cindy Tu for a variance to reduce the setbacks for poultry houses from 200 feet to 90 feet. This property is located at 1594 U.S. Highway 441, North and is zoned CAD, Commercial Agricultural District.
The following ordinance will be considered:
An ordinance to amend Article II, Sections 62-31 and 62-32 to require harvesters to provide irrevocable bank letter of credit or surety bond prior to beginning any timber operation in Banks County; to delete the provisions for cash bonds and escrow deposits; to provide for an effective date and to repeal conflicting ordinances and resolutions, and for other purposes.
The above applications and ordinance are on file in the office of the Banks County Planning Commission and available for public review.
The Banks County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the matters on Tuesday, December 2, 2003, at 7 p.m. in the courtroom located at the Banks County Courthouse in Homer, Georgia.
The Banks County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on the matters on Tuesday, December 9, 2003, at 7 p.m. in the courtroom at the Banks County Courthouse in Homer, Georgia.

The Northeast Georgia Housing Authority has developed its Comprehensive Agency Plan in compliance with the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998. The Plan will be available November 14, 2003, for public review and comment at the Northeast Georgia Housing Authority’s Hill Street office, Homer Town Hall, and at the administrative office at 605 South Pond Street, Toccoa, Ga.
In addition, a public hearing will be held at 164 Hill Street, Homer, Ga., on January 2, 2004, at 9:00 a.m. for public input and consideration by the Northeast Georgia Housing Authority Board of Commissioners.
