Please take notice that the following amendments to the Zoning Regulations and Subdivision Regulations of Banks County will be considered by the Banks County Planning Commission and the Board of Commissioners of Banks County:
A resolution to amend the zoning resolution of Banks County, Georgia, to provide for an article XIV, entitled "Planned Unit Development District" ("PUD"); to provide regulations for flexibility in land uses; to provide regulations for mix uses; to provide for violations and penalties; to repeal conflicting resolutions; to provide for severability; to provide for an effective date, and for other purposes.
A resolution to amend the subdivision regulations of Banks County, Georgia, to provide for a definition of "Subdivision," to provide for classes of subdivisions; to provide exemptions from preliminary plat approval; to provide minimum access standards and prohibition of chain subdivisions in Class I and Class II Subdivision; to repeal conflicting resolutions; to provide for severability; to provide for an effective date and for other purposes.
The above amendments are on file in the Office of the Banks County Planning Commission at the Banks County Courthouse, Homer, Georgia and are available for public review.
The Banks County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to comment on the proposed amendments on Tuesday, November 2, 1999 at 7 p.m. at the Banks County Courthouse, Homer, Georgia, in the courtroom on the second floor.
The Banks County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing for the public to comment on the proposed amendments on Tuesday, November 9, 1999 at 7 p.m. at the Banks County Courthouse, Homer, Georgia in the courtroom on the second floor.
Interested persons are invited to appear and comment.

CU-99-15 - Application by William Martin for a conditional use permit to move a manufactured home that exceeds the age limit according to Banks County's Manufactured Home Ordinance 99-11.
CU-99-16 - Application by Billy Joe Gowder for a conditional use permit for two heavy breeder poultry houses on Gowder Road. This property is zoned ARR, Agricultural, Rural-Residential.
The above applications are on file in the Office of the Banks County Planning Commission and are available for public review.
