The Jackson County Panthers golf team picked up two wins last week to go 2-0 on the season, defeating Jefferson and Clark Central.
The Panthers scored 185, while Jefferson got 196 and Clark Central shot 214.
Individually, Rodney Price shot a 44. Jared Scott shot a 46. Ben Waldrip shot a 47. Brent VanFleet shot a 48. Thomas Whitley shot a 48. River Bryant shot a 54.
“We are off to a great start,” said coach Warren Standridge.
The Panthers will travel to Banks County to face the Leopards at Hammer’s Glen today (Wednesday) beginning at 4 p.m.
