DANIELSVILLE – Syble Clark Allen, 87, died Saturday, March 13, 2010.
Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Sonfonia Massey Clark. She was a homemaker and a member of Rogers Baptist Church. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ford D. Allen.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Leon Fitzpatrick, Danielsville; granddaughter and her husband, Christy and Mitch Porterfield; great-grandchildren, Mason Porterfield and Connor Porterfield; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 16, at 2 p.m., at Lord & Stephens Madison Chapel with the Revs. Wayne Douglas, Johnny Thompson, Carlton Peters and Mike Sarna officiating. Burial will be at Rogers Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, March 15, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Roger Clark, Wayne Clark, Anthony Clark, Alvin Gary, Wayman Dove and Donald Ayers.
