The East Jackson Eagle men’s tennis team lost to Winder-Barrow 4-1 last week.
Sherying Ly and Michael Gatlin picked up the lone point for the Eagles at number two doubles.
Up next for East Jackson was a match with the Banks County Leopards that would determine tournament seeding. The match had been moved from March fourth.
The Eagles fell 3-2, picking up wins at number two singles from Tony Johnson in sets of 6-0, 6-0 and at number three singles from Tsim Nuy Ly with set scores of 6-4, 4-6 and 6-4.
The Eagles were slated to face Dawson County on Tuesday. Results were unavailable at press time.
Up next for East Jackson is a trip to Walnut Grove on Thursday. Match time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
