This is the new MainStreetNews.com site which features news from Jackson, Madison, Banks and Barrow counties. News is being fed into this site from our individual newspaper websites.

We are still in the process of tweaking how this site functions and will soon be adding new features. Let us know your thoughts on how we can make this site better for you.

As a student to Web Development, I am thrilled to see the new format! And interactive too!
Wow!

I have been reading MainStreetNews.com since coming to Georgia last year. I loved the home town effect but the news did not change frequently. Now, it appears it may change more often and I will be a regular visitor!

Keep up the great work!

I think that it's great having a interactive news source website! You wanted suggestions, well here is one, I'm unemployed, desperately seeking employment. I would appreciate having jobs that are immediately posted to the website either being able to get a automatic email notification or maybe even a phone text message sent. Talk about interactive!

Thanks for the great work ya'll are doing, can't wait to see more of the new site!

Hi Mike. I live in Omaha NE and visit this site all the time. I grew up and went to high school in Jefferson. I don't have any suggestions for making changes but wanted to let you know you're doing a great job.
