Molly A. Smith, 50, Lula, was sentenced to prison by United States District Judge William C. O’Kelley on tax-related fraud charges. A Maysville home burned July 4 and a faulty hot water heater is believed to have been the problem. Maysville residents discuss future of city

Maysville residents came out to a public meeting, Monday night, to discuss the future of the town. Adam Hazell of Georgia Mountain RDC, was on hand to discuss with the residents plans that need to be incorporated into the city's comprehensive plan. Another meeting to further discuss and receive resident input is being scheduled.
