Visitor’s bureau adopts $279,000 budget for FY 09

The Braselton Visitor’s Bureau approved a 2009 fiscal year budget of $279,000 on Thursday. The budget is a 14 percent increase from the 2008 fiscal year budget of $237,500. Investigation continues into suspicious death

The investigation is continuing into the death of a Jefferson woman found in a freezer last week. As of press time Wednesday, law enforcement officials had not ruled whether it was accidental or if a crime had been committed.
