Aggravated assault was reported in Diamond Hill Trailer Park after a woman who was hiding in the Diamond Hill Grocery Store said her boyfriend had kicked her in the calf and punched her in the back of the head. Former deputy charged with sending obscene material to minor

A former Madison County deputy has been charged with electronically furnishing obscene material to a minor. Jeffery Dale Roberts, 37, 60 East Ninth Street, Colbert, was fired from his job after the sheriff’s department learned of the man’s alleged inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old girl.
