Truck stolen from Hwy. 72 residence

A man reported that his Ford F-350 truck was taken from his home on Hwy. 72. The truck is valued at $30,000. In another incident, someone reported a blue 2008 Suzuki motorcycle stolen from a shed on Bolton Drive. Tire tracks near the shed indicated it had been loaded onto a truck. Commissioners agree to meet with former county clerk about termination

The board of commissioners agreed Monday night to honor former county clerk Morris Fortson’s request for a conference with them. Fortson, who was suspended with pay on Nov. 18, pending a termination date of Jan. 6, requested the conference in a response letter last week to the board concerning his termination. Hull woman arrested for threatening her children

A Hull woman was charged with four counts of terroristic threats and acts after she allegedly threatened her kids as they were walking down the road.
