Motor oil, boombox from Chateau Elan shop

Thieves stole several items from a Chateau Elan maintenance shop, according to Braselton police. A lock on the shop was cut and the door frame was damaged, according to an incident report. Chateau Elan reported that 10 cases of motor oil, a boombox and socket set were stolen. The items were valued at $1,175.

Hoschton council approves zoning changes to allow YMCA facility

The YMCA is one step closer to opening a facility in Hoschton. Two people in black clothing and ski masks may have tried to burglarize two businesses in Braselton, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. Braselton eyes grant for sewer line project

An aging wastewater treatment pump station that serves Braselton’s key industrial area may be replaced using funds from a state grant.
