Two sentenced to prison for molestation

Two men were sentenced recently in Madison County Superior Court to prison for child molestation. Ronnie V. Mills was sentenced to 15 years confinement for child molestation. A male pit bull seized from a Madison County man in a dog fighting bust this summer was recently returned to that man. This seems sad and doesn’t make much sense to me. Unemployment rate increases to 25-year high

The Georgia Department of Labor says that the unemployment rate in the Northeast Georgia area rose to a preliminary unadjusted rate of 7.3 percent in November, up 3.2 percentage points over the year from November of 2007. The jobless rate in the Northeast Georgia area rose one-tenth of one percentage point from a revised 7.2 percent in October. ... [Full Story »]
