Yearwood: Cut county hours to 37.5

Barrow County’s new commission chairman Danny Yearwood will propose cutting county employee hours to 37.5 per week and one unpaid furlough day per month in an effort to cut county spending during the economic downturn. A Winder woman was brutally attacked New Year’s Day by another woman who, in an apparent drunken rage, stomped on her leg and broke it.
