A man whose pockets contained a bag with a white residue told Hoschton police the pants on his body didn’t belong to him, according to an incident report. Man tries to hide meth in police car

A man sitting in a Braselton officer’s patrol vehicle tried to hide methamphetamine, according to police. The man — William Frank Buchanan, 47, of Glade Springs, Va. — was stopped along I-85, where an officer said he was speeding. During a traffic stop, the officer said Buchanan seemed extremely nervous. The West Jackson Fire Department responded to a small brush fire near Chateau Elan on Thursday. When firefighters arrived, the one-acre fire was located between two of Chateau Elan’s entrances on Ga.
