The Banks County golfers traveled to the Chattahoochee Golf Club in Gainesville Monday to compete in the 8-AA region tournament to end the season. The Commerce Tigers are gearing up for this weekend’s region track meet in Watkinsville. Athens Academy is hosting the Region 8-A meet that begins Saturday. A tractor-trailer truck carrying other vehicles overturned on I-85, near Chateau Elan on Thursday morning. The truck was traveling on I-85, when it overturned onto both southbound lanes near Ga.
