Lady Golfers Place Sixth At State Tournament Monday

Man charged with assault, terroristic threats

A Commerce man was arrested on family violence charges recently after he allegedly struck and attempted to stab his live-in girlfriend. Barney Shane Richey, 37, of 113 Barnes Road, was charged with one count each of aggravated assault FVA, battery FVA and terroristic threats and acts. Auburn man arrested

A 37-year-old Auburn man was arrested April 30 on allegations of multiple sexual assaults of a child. The victim is an 8-year-old girl. “It has been going on over a period of time,” said Lt.
