The funeral service for an Army National guardsman from Lula killed in action in Afghanistan will be held on Saturday. Maj. Kevin M. Banks receives stimulus money for road project

Banks County has received federal stimulus funds for a road improvement project. Banks County will receive $759,446 to resurface five miles of State Route 164 from State Route 51 to State Route 59.
