DFACS continues to see rise in economic support applications

The Banks County Department of Family and Children Services continues to see an increase in applications for economic support in the form of Food Stamps. Homer’s proposed budget down 20 percent

The proposed budget for 2009-2010 for the Town of Homer is down 20 percent over the current budget. At a meeting on Tuesday, June 16, the council reviewed the proposed budget. A pick-up truck overturned on Ga. Hwy. 53, near Curk Roberts Road in Braselton on Wednesday, June 10, according to the West Jackson Fire Department.
