River diving accident leaves man paralyzed

A Danielsville man was seriously injured during a diving accident on the Hudson River June 17. According to EMS reports, Travis Adams, 34, dove off a dock on Harry Paul Road into shallow water around 8 p.m., striking his head. Braselton court clerk arrested for stealing $15,000

Braselton’s municipal court clerk has been arrested for allegedly stealing $15,000 in cash bond funds over a 10-month period, according to town officials. Becky L. May signs with Savannah State

Madison County pitcher Jack May signed a Division I baseball scholarship with Savannah State recently. May went 7-1 this past spring, helping lead the Raiders to a second-place finish in the region and a trip to the state playoffs. May finished with a 2.07 ERA and 44 strikeouts in 64.3 innings pitched.

Robert Clark arrested for grandson's murder

Robert Clark, 55, was formally charged Thursday with the June 7 murder of his 6-year-old grandson, Michael Levigne.
