Two arrests following DUI hit-and-run

The Georgia State Patrol last week arrested two Barrow County residents following a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian. The driver, Tammy Ann Hockman, was charged with numerous offenses. Hull teen charged with battery, stalking

A Hull teen was arrested twice last week after allegedly striking a juvenile friend’s mother, and then texting the woman on her cell phone in violation of bond conditions issued by the magistrate court. Statham finalist for Army Center

Appeal period runs through August 17

Madison Countians unsatisfied with how their property is valued have until Aug. 17 to appeal their assessments. Tax assessment notices were mailed July 2 to all property owners in Madison County.
