A Colbert man was arrested recently after allegedly attacking his girlfriend. Tivaro Tyquan Cooper, 22, 599 Farm Road, was charged with one count of battery FVA. Thirty seven Madison County properties are advertised in this week’s paper for the September foreclosure sale, down from a record high of 50 for August. Through the first nine months of 2009, 261 foreclosures have been advertised in The Madison County Journal. In 2008, there were 260 foreclosures advertised, up from 150 in both 2006 and 2007. ...
