Qualifying is under way this week for two new seats on the Banks County Board of Commission and seven candidates have qualified so far. The election will be Nov. 3. Beer/wine ordinance again topic of debate in Maysville

Public hearings have now been held in all four districts in Maysville with the majority of residents attending the meetings being opposed to the sale of beer and wine in the town.
