The weather has been the biggest foe to the Lady Eagles of East Jackson, as both games on last week’s schedule got rained out. Despite the persistent, misting rain last Thursday, the Banks County Lady Leopards pushed forward and secured an 8-0 sweep over the Dawson County Lady Tigers. It was a rainy run for Banks County at Riverside Military Academy last Thursday. The Leopard’s cross country team battled the elements as well as runners from Rabun, Riverside and East Hall in the second meet of the 2009 season.
