After defeating Commerce just before Labor Day, the Lady Dragons have now lost their last three games in a row, and are 0-3 in region play and 5-7 overall. Commerce Lady Tigers advanced to 2-2 in region play last week as the fell to Prince Avenue on Tuesday, but picked up a win on Thursday over Athens Christian. The Lady Tigers are 5-8 overall and were scheduled to play on Tuesday at Hebron. That game was rained out. Wednesday's games has been canceled, Commerce was scheduled to host Banks County. ... It was been a busy weekend for the Winder-Barrow High School softball team. Last Friday the team defeated East Jackson 5-1 as Kylie Smith recorded a win using a nine-strikeout performance.
