A Statham man was arrested last week after repeatedly striking his 66-year-old mother. A deputy was dispatched to 102 Dyno Trail in Statham after the victim called saying she had been injured in an attack by her son. A Barrow County detention officer was arrested today by Barrow County Sheriff’s Office narcotics deputies. Jeremy Robert Haney, 30, of Bethlehem, was arrested after purchasing a small quantity of hydrocodone from an undercover deputy. Haney was arrested without incident. An Auburn man was arrested after an intoxicated declaration of love led to a domestic disturbance. Raymond Allen Barrett, age 48 of 21 Ninth Street in Auburn was dancing with a female at a private residence when the woman said that she would always love her deceased husband.
