The latest class of the Barrow County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) ended its training with a disaster drill October 10. CERT members were called upon to respond to a mock disaster scene which simulated tornado damage. Man arrested for shaking penis

An Auburn man was arrested after allegedly shaking his penis at family members. According to the arrest report, Cody Jacob Barrett, age 17, of 1271 Harmony Grove Church Road in Auburn, was taunting two juvenile cousins, ages 10 and 13. The Winder-Barrow High School band will hold its annual Bulldogg Band Thriller 5k run/walk and one mile fun run on Saturday, October 24.
