A Winder-Barrow High School student was cited for underage consumption of alcohol after drinking what he said was Gatorade mixed with an energy drink. Attempt to mediate domestic dispute fails

An hour long attempt by a Barrow County Sheriff’s deputy to mediate a domestic dispute ended with the arrest of two people. Statham Police were called to a Sunset Drive address last week to investigate a domestic dispute. A gas thief struck the Atlanta Highway Ingles gas station twice in a thirty minute period last Wednesday. The gas station clerk said a slim white male with short blond hair stole $35 worth of gas at approximately 8 a.m..
