Winder-Barrow Speedway racer Perry Crowe, driver of the #9 Modified 4 Cylinder car, competed in the state championship race at East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Ala. this past weekend. A little bit of luck helped the Banks County Lady Leopards out last week as the girls took a 4-3 win over East Jackson on Thursday. Commerce’s cross-country runners showed improvement last week at Madison County in the Tigers’ second meet. On the girls’ squad, Sierra Martinez and Kacee Cooper improved their run times.
