Area Democrats to meet Nov. 19

The Banks and Jackson County Democrats will welcome Jane Kidd, executive director of the Democratic Party of Georgia, as their guest speaker for their monthly meeting Nov. 19 in Denny’s meeting room at Banks Crossing. All interested persons are invited. There will be an optional dinner social hour at 5:30 followed by the regular meeting at 6:30.

Braselton man to run for Gwinnett commission seat

Ron Silver, Braselton, has announced that he will seek the Gwinnett District 4 commission seat, which is being vacated by Kevin Kenerly. Neighbor leaves dead snake on car

Two Hoschton men seen drinking and playing with a dead snake were arrested on disorderly conduct charges, according to police. A man in the West Jackson Villas on Ga.
