Jackson County officials expect to announce the location of a new industry to Braselton in the near future. Garner files suit against Pendergrass

Former Pendergrass policeman William Garner has joined two other employees in filing a federal lawsuit against the town and its officials. Child drowns Thursday

A North Jackson child reportedly fell into a muddy swimming pool Thursday and later died at a Gainesvill hospital. It is the second child drowning in Jackson County this year.
