Poole sentenced in vehicular homicide case

Chase Poole was sentenced last week in Banks County Superior Court for vehicular homicide in the 2007 death of a Banks County High School senior. Charles Turk and Ernest Rogers are the two newest members of the Banks County Board of Commissioners. Both were the top vote-getters in Tuesday's run-off election. In the District 2 race, Rogers had 872 votes, while Fred Wendt had 577 votes. In the District 4 race, Turk had 772 votes, while Robin Trotter had 705.
