A Winder woman got in trouble with more than just the law after her arrest for driving under the influence. A suspect in an armed robbery is dead after a police pursuit ended in a fatal crash on Hwy. 11 near Bethlehem Church Road in Barrow County. Two men jailed for kidnapping

Two men are currently being held in the Barrow County Detention Center on charges related to a Dec. 16 kidnapping. Statham Police investigate carjacking

A man selling clothing out of his van escaped without injury after being carjacked last week in Statham. Two black males armed with a shotgun stole the victim’s merchandise and his teal-colored minivan. The incident is under investigation.
