Robbery suspect dies fleeing authorities

A suspect in an armed robbery is dead after a police pursuit ended in a fatal crash on Hwy. 11 near Bethlehem Church Road in Barrow County. Barrow County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a Lokeys Ridge Road home on Dec. 15 after the residents reported firing several shots at two individuals. A bad night turned even worse for a Winder woman after she was stopped for speeding and other traffic violations on Highway 316.
