A Winder woman was arrested after striking her mother in the head with a cell phone. Kelly Jackson, 38, of 186 Giles Road, was charged with family violence simple assault and simple battery after the Dec. 21 domestic dispute. Three arrested after riding on horses while drinking

Three people were arrested recently in an unusual case of DUI, after a deputy reportedly found them riding horses on the road at night while drinking.
