Emergency Services establishes training committee

Barrow County Emergency Services recently announced the creation of a training committee to streamline the delivery of instruction to all personnel. Hull man charged with battery

A Hull man was charged with battery recently following an incident on Grady Drive in Hull. Salvador Jimenez Almaraz, 42, 208 Grady Drive, was charged with one count each of battery FVA and interference with a 911 call. The Hull City Council’s first order of business in 2010 was to swear in its new councilmember, Paige Phillips. Phillips took her oath of office Jan. 17 after winning the city council seat back during the November municipal elections. Her term runs until 2013.
