An officer working an accident on Sims Road during the Feb. 12 snowfall was approached by a firefighter who advised that he smelled alcohol on the breath of woman in a nearby beige Nissan Frontier which was blocking traffic. An Auburn man was charged with burglary and possession of illegal drugs after an investigation led police to his residence.
