The Lady Eagles of East Jackson hope to end their regular season on a high note this week after dropping games last week to North Oconee, Walnut Grove and Jefferson. The East Jackson Mat Eagles came home with fifth place from the area tournament over the weekend at Riverside Military Academy, with five wrestlers qualifying to move on to this weekend’s state sectional tournament. The Jefferson Mat Dragons went into this past weekend hoping to advance 14 wrestlers to this weekend’s state sectional tournament.
